Hopefully you get them safely.

I think the SK-60, at 35" length & 13" beam, is probably better balanced using a current .45 marine engine.

The 1401 kit was the original SK Daddle Hallet ski boat design by Dumas (36" in length). Up to .40 size engine. If I'm correct this boat was intended for .40 to .60 displacement back in the day.
