wing struts for rear wing

I have a scale that has some nice chrome struts,does anyone know where to get them??? Mikey

I just use some 4-40 push rods and buff them out to a high shine with Mother polish....

i did kinda the same thing excpt i got some aluminum tube to put over the 4-40 rod

Hi Mikey,

I used the 3/32 aluminum aero tubing from K&S. Slide a 1/8 dowel rod inside of it and glue it in with CA. The stuff is pretty soft and will polish up like chrome.

I've also used that Aro tube over the 4-40 rods,on the scale that used that type of strut.. Just marked where they were going to alile and made some J.B.weld to hold them place on the rods.. Found that it was too soft to use by it self..Didn't take too much to bend it.. But they do polissh up real nice...
