Here's a pic of my Sport 40, built from Brian's plans.

I have minimal building/woodworking experience (Built a Dumas Hawk a few years back, and recently built a Wildthing). Managed to flip two of the parts left to right, despite having marked left and right. Will be completing with anti trip on both sponsons.

Mine will end up painted, bound to need some filler in a few places.

If I can build one of these then I am sure anyone can.

I've learnt a lot about building wooden boats form this. My next Whiplash will be better.

sorry for my ignorance, but Brinas Plans? do you have any more info? i might be interested

Plans are from Brian Blazer.

Quality of the plans is excelent. I'm sure the kit would be a joy to build. Wasn't an option for me as int he UK.

Build from the plans is a lot of work, marking up, cutting and sanding the parts. It would be nice to avoid this.

I am already thinking I could probably desig my own Sport 20 based on what I have learnt so far.

I will definitly be making another sport hydro.
