What's Easier

I would like to attempt building a boat from Newton plans. So what's easier for a first build, a Thunderboat or a Hydro like the Bud boat?

Well I can say that the GALE V has been an experiance with the deck, the compound curves are pretty hard to get the plywood skin to laydown next time Iwill do two layers of 1/32 and soak them in water and amonia other than that the plans were a good fit and boat looks correct. Probably you would do better with a newer pickel fork for your first one and find a lazer cutter to do the parts for you unless you have lots of time and tools.

it really depends on your resources. If you got a shop norm abram would be proud of go for what you want. If you got a shop provided by harbor freight you may want to talk to Mr. Thomas and go glass.

I may get his lobster rather than deal with another project.

....but when my t4 is done,,,,,,,,, oh that will be good
