Huge welcome to the newly formed Rochester Model Boat Club.

The new club has secured an amazing race facility for the 2014 season, complete with Restaurant and Banquet Centre on an absolutely beautiful pond.

This race site will quickly become one of the best in ALL of IMPBA with all its amenities and central location.

Put June 6/7 on your calendar ,Carey Lake Rochester N.Y. for their very first event.

Thanks to all involved for making this happen and special thanks to our District Director Luc for his tireless work to bring us all together.

rochester, my home town!! grew up in a suburb, pittsford, on parker dr./circle (?

, don't remember which). been wanting to come up to d-1, not too far a hop, i can be in ithaca in 'bout 5 hrs. make some new friends, see some old ones, put some names & faces together, race some new water & have fun.

Luc, was there any discussion on a class lineup for the June race?

I saw on Craig's forum that they're planning a couple one day fun runs.

It's cool to see that Rochester has a club again. It was a good time racing with the guys in the old club some 35 yrs ago. Hope to get a chance to get home again this summer and stop by the new pond
