Guy's

Had call from Kentley Porter today at Virginia SAW trials.

he set new 45 hydro record at approx 111+mph with fastest passes at 115+mph :D

,

this boat had never been tested or ran before as he only received the Ozspec/vac 45 about week ago,

he's first pass was 112mph, he said motor did it easy can pull more prop, and still on the same glow plug i tested the motor with,

Jerry Crowther set new F(X) mono record at approx 94mph fastest pass 96+mph with Vac 91

still 2 days to go, all the best to the guy's at Virginia trials...

regards Aaron

96 MPH F mono. Now that is what I`am talking about ... Sounds like Kently`s VAC 45 is Hauling ..

Thats rollin for a single point hydro.

BTW arent they running in Elizabeth City (NC)? Thought they only ran 1/3 & 1/4 oval trials in Virginia.

The CMB 45VAC is the strongest 45 motor that I have seen. This coming year, we will learn the potential of this motor. It is already pulling props that other motors could not.

we run saw in elizabeth city, & oval at the odmba pond in chesapeake, va.
Yeah i know that...was just confused since Aaron said they were running in Virginia. One of these days i wont have things going on so i can make it over to Elizabeth City when they have their trials... i forget what its like getting to run at sea level

Hope someone got video of Jerry's runs.

The Vac 45 has got good torque but doe's not have the rpm's as the picco at the same pipe lenght (shorten the pipe lose torque, its a give and take game) , but i found the picco to have good torque and great rpm's.

both are good motor's.

Allan

This is not a stock motor, I reworked the Vac...

Aaron & Andy, I know what you mean about the cold and wind. You just never know what Mother Nature will do next! :p Hope she was kind today B)

Don :)

Don,

Does the weather really ever change in L.A.? :) I've only been to Legg Lake a few times, but every time the weather was record breaking perfect.

Don, Andy

Mostly blow out again,

John Finch did get 99mph gas rigger record(i think this is right) dont know full details.

I'm sure Kp or someone will post full results. Congrats to all

here is a video of KP's pass 114.79mph,

also i only sent the motor and props to Kp just over a week ago, he had done no testing at all with this motor and new boat.

and if he would have drove straight through the traps it would have been alot faster.

will be back there in April, can't wait

regards Aaron

Andy,

All I can say is "most of the time" the weather is what you want to have a chance at setting records. Then again we have sat an watched the wind blow most all day. Mother Nature can be a Bitc-----

Don :)
