I would like to ask a recomended starting length for a OS .21 with a 180 degree header and tuned pipe?

measured from the glow plug to widest part of pipe.

Thank you to all replies

Steve

Steve,

The measurement will depend on your header length. We usually start with a 5" header

so the measurement will be aprox. 3" from the glow plug or 8" centerline through the

header to the pipe at the widest point. We go shorter, but we use less cup on the

propeller that way. Longer pipe more Torque, shorter pipe more RPM. The pipe,% of Nitro,

propellers, and boat set up will all have a lot to do with the optimum pipe length.

Good Luck,

Mark Sholund

21 cm = 210mm = 8.25"

24 cm = 240mm = 9.8"

very good info
