The 2007 NAMBA Electric Nationals

It's official folks, the 2007 NAMBA Electric Nationals will be from July 25-29, 2007 at Lake Marion in Mazomanie, WI.

For MapQuest and GPS folks, the shelter is on Hwy KP, a 1/4 mi. west of Hwy 14.

AirVenture '07 in Oshkosh is 23-29.

Open water is 24/7 is every day starting tomorrow and ending at 8 AM the morning of the 7/25/07. That is, on any day the pond isn't frozen.

A website will be up within weeks and classes to be run will be decided and announced between now and New Year's Day.

We will confirm group rates in the next couple of days at a Country Inn and Suites 20 miles from the pond.

By far, the closest to the pond is this one on the site referenced above:

The Bel-Aire Motel, Mazomanie. (608-795-2806. Bare basics, 1950's style, strip motel only ½ mile from the site. There are plenty of places to eat in Mazo and Black Earth. This one is so upscale, they don't always answer the phone (which they didn't when I tried to call for rates.)
