IIRC, the setup sheets showed an 8 oz. up front of the engine & a 2 oz. hopper outside the rail to the right of the engine. Search in Terry Keeley's posts/content, I know he has posted the setup sheets on IW.

I ran a 10 oz tank in the nose with no problems,

10 oz of fuel should do it, 8 up front and a hopper.

If you want a real trick setup get Walt to build you a "V" bottom tank to get that CG as low as possible.

As per Walt 10 oz up front. I have a plastic tank

built by Ryan Lipgens that fits the vee of the hull.

He may still have the drawing that I sent him to

build another one.

Hi Fons,

Was the tank Ryan made for you 10oz?

How did you go about securing it?

Been thinking of getting one of these for my Speedmaster.

Brad:

I glued two 3/8x3/8 hard wood rails in with cup hooks

installed and elastic bands to hold them down (yes it is

tight but can be done) and yes the tank is about 10 oz.

Consult with Ryan I'm sure he has the plan I sent him,

if not I think I still have the plans at work. When I place

the tank in it is about 2 inches in front of the engine.
