Guys, just wanted to share a new tool that we offer for the OS XM PTO. This tool securely holds the PTO shaft of an OS 21XM while you remove the nut from the shaft so that you can replace bearings. There is a hardened steel shaft that is pressed in place and aligns with the crankpin cut out on the PTO shaft. Once the PTO is secured with the included screws, you can now place this block in a small vise so you can loosen the captive nut on the PTO shaft and subsequently the bearings.

If you have ever tried to remove these PTO shaft nuts, you know that its a bear to hold the shaft from spinning.

They are $25.00 plus shipping, and can be purchased on the website. www.stumpfabrication.com

I can’t take credit for the idea, this came from Kevin Lee, good ole Smart Monkey Racing Engines. He gave me the idea and said, make them!

Works much better that vise-grips lol. Gabe,
I meant to pick one of these up from you over the weekend. I also need to get one of the Nova to Lawless adapter plates you make. Can you send me an invoice for one of each of those? Thanks.

Ron, I can get the invoice out to you for the tool. No problem. On the lawless plates, you got 3 from me already, do you need another one?
