Looking good Bradley, You just have to upgrade to try beat those Stealth hydros. Maybe I build a Stealth 33 inch and see how that works.
The new Blazer Sport 20 31" is about to be released as well, glad we have multiple options of boat hulls to choose from. I feel like this class is really growing and the competition is fierce. My original ML was the GP series 31", so this build I am doing the GSX series 33" so alot of unknown territory, but ready for the challenge.

I’m so thankful for the few out there that still support the RC Boating community by providing a solid platform for success in the hobby. People like Phil, Brian and Bob Blazer, Mike with ML Boatworks, Zippkits, RC Boat Co., Bill Brandt, Stu Barr, Gizmo, Hanson, Maston, Speedmaster, and the list goes on.

Hmmm, seems results show Brad's been beating everyone on a regular basis. National Champ 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2022 and has owned D14 high points in sport 20. Only reason he wasn't 2022 high point is he missed 2 races. ;)

Yea he is the guy to beat. He worries we getting faster. We can race with Bradley.

Brad's got him another winner!.....lookin' good, buddy...

When I was shopping Sport 40's, Don told me the ML was the hot setup.
Well, a really nice carbon fiber Peterson, that's pristine, jumped out in front of me at a righteous price and we snagged it.

Hey, Brad, I'd like to build a Scale hydro, and the ML Winston Lobster's got my attention....are they a nice hull, or should we go after one of the RC Boat Co. carbon fiber hulls?

Thanks, and enjoy the rest of your build!

Tim

They are a nice hull from ML, my brother ran the Gas Version from ML but I have never ran the Nitro version from ML.

Nose block is glued on and ready to glue some of the Veil in tonight or tomorrow for the floor.

Carbonfiber Veil went in nicely, next the top lid for the center section. Once the top is on then I’ll cut the center bulkhead and decide where I want the motor to land. Then make a breast plate for the floor mount, and finish out the veil in the center section.

Glued the top on the center tub, now dry fitting the sponsons. Tonight I will cut out the center brace where the engine will land then I will make a breast plate for the floor mount and get the Carbon fiber Veil installed to complete that process.

Looks good! That Carbon fiber Veil you talk about, does that come as part of the kit? Or, something you're adding "just because?" Added strength would be my guess... Going wire drive? Who's engine mount?
Will be curious as to how it performs. Please let us know!!

Ken
