I was just informed by Ray's wife, Mary, that Ray died suddenly on December 19. Ray was a long time District 8 modeler, hobby shop owner, and great guy. He won District 8 and NAMBA Nationals outboard classes in the early years of this decade. He was forced to slow down due to knee problems and gave up boats for RC airplanes. As one of the founding FROGs (F****** Really Old Guys), I will miss his good cheer and great sense of humor.
