Just touching base to let everyone know that rcRacingEvents.com will be releasing a major update for Finish Line Scoring in the coming weeks.

Some of the updates include;

Detailed event statistics, displaying heats processed, average minutes per heat, average heats per hour, and total open event time. This functionality will allow you to adjust your event pace to suit time requirements.

Display of next up, get ready, and standby heats, allowing the CD to easily and quickly call racers to the pits in ample time for their heats in a single glance without sifting through paper scoring pages.

Auto calculation of run-offs. Know in an instant if your event will have run offs, and how many per class. Clicking the class name brings up detailed information for each tie score position and a separate scoring window to resolve them.

A log window that details each event as it occurs. As your race progresses, you can easily go back and review all actions performed during your event.

Also new is the ability to import and export your event to multiple computers/laptops with just a thumb drive, using Finish Line Scoring's proprietary 'Compiled Event File' format.

And many, many more enhancements that have been included or updated behind the interface that you don't see.

I also have quite a few more tricks up my sleeve to make Finish Line Scoring even more productive. These will be coming in the next year. Stay tuned!

The day is quickly approaching when using a pencil and paper to score an event will be a thing of the past...

Lastly, Remember, rcRacingEvents.com and Finish Line Scoring is free!

Bill,

Nice updates.

We used your system for the first time @ our Grand Prix in July (actually the race in your screen shot).

The system ROCKS!!!

Thanks,
