Phil,

I'd like to get one of your epoxy drivers.

What's the total with shipping?

NEW FOR 08

Super Sport 45 hydros now have the improved bottom design that came from the mod to meet the NAMBA rule on belly pan depth. This new design has improved the air flow under the boat eliminating most of the lift. We have changed the setup info with a higher and flatter strut setup which allows the boat to run looser with out blowoff problems.

Several exsiting hulls were modded last year with good results.

Phil has anyone succesfully ran the 45 without the canard wings?
I have seen a few run well without them but would not do it unless the mod is done to the bottom or new style hull is used.....Mike

You probally wont need them with the new hull, but they look good and make a nice handle to pick up the boat with. Its up to you if you like them installed.

The hull meets the 25% set back rule with or with out the front canards

Phil if I decide to use them what is the best way to mount them? I was going to tack them in place with CA and then use Epoxy.

NO They will just fall off if you just epoxy them to the hull. You should cut out the nose on the red marks and insert the wing into the hull. Square up the wings and mark the sponsons and cut a slot for the wing. tack then in place with CA then use good long set epoxy with some filler.

The last boat I bought I made my own wing and installed it near the front and made it adjustable like the newer unlimiteds. It is more effective and can be adjusted for different conditions. works great!

Phil, I completed the bottom mods on my ss sport 45 redo, can I get the setup info with the higher and flatter strut. Ray B) B)

Well I think i will get the hull all together and see how well it runs before I paint it or install the canards. If it gets real flighty I will just add them before the hull gets painted.
