Radio box setup.

In a 1/4 scale tunnel hull I'll be installing a servo gearbox and haven't seen any good pictures of how radio boxes (hole through the top, I think) are setup to keep out water on this type of system. How is the arm attached to the gear? Is there an arm that is recommended? The gearbox and throttle mounts are easy enough to figure. Thank you all for your help.
