As we have always heard. The fastes boat does not always win. Just try to finish and get points!

That was the case this past weekend at a race in La. Chris Huff was planning on running his Nova Rossi powered HTB 290 in the 20 mod tunnel class but had motor troubles and just could not get it to contunue to run. Instead he entered his stock HTB 260 with a OS motor in the mod class and took home the first place plaque. He fought off the field of boats powered by Nova Rossi and CMB motors with good starts and keeping the inside lane.

This just goes to show that a good driver can do alot to make up for a lack of speed.

You get a pat on the back from me Chris!
