R/C AM SCORPION ARTR Race Boat
`MACH 5 racing' has decided offer one of our NAMBA `MACH 5 racing' TEAM BOATS Almost Ready to Run! This Mono was used for the last couple seasons with great success and recently refitted with a New 800GRX-L brushed motor. Boat has a few battle scars but is still in excellent condition, Pro-built to save you time and money.
Its almost a complete package deal for the racer that needs entry-level Mono for S or T class racing! This package includes everything EXCEPT charger. An FMA Charger is also available at extra cost.
AM SCORPION 40 FEATURES:[/b] is 36" long with 11" beam fiberglass hull. This is a special ordered hull built as a light-layup for Fast Electric competition by Aeromarine. Carbon Fiber mat was used in high stress areas to keep the hull light a strong. Prepped by `MACH 5 racing' this hull will handle light chop and is setup for for sport or serious Offshore & Sprint style racing. A special Titan style hatch was fabricated to allow for ease of sealing. A pair of additional Tuned chines have been added for improved high-speed performance and handling. Airbag floatation is also included
800GRX-L Motor ($95.00 retail) for sensored or sensorless speed controls. This motor is quite the 24-26 cell powerhouse. Made in the U.K. it delivers approx 700 RPM Volt. ASTRO FLIGHT 207D ($95.00 retail) Rated at 60 amps this is one of the best brushed controllers on the market for high cell count applications. Comes with connectors ready for action teamed with the 800 GRX-L.
The Custom Inline Composite Surface Drive assembly is made by `MACH 5 racing'. This ultra light carbon fiber outdrive includes .150 dia. flex cable mated to a stainless steel 3/16 stub shaft with drive dog. The drive shaft will accept any 3/16 drive-dog style prop from Octura , Graupner Prather. A carbon 48 is included.
24 Cell SANYO 3000 Full C nicad power pack ($150.00 retail) is pro built in end-to-end style. These powerful Full C style cells are easy to charge and maintain. SANYO 3000's offer excellent performance with plenty of runtime and speeds approaching 35 MPH at full thorottle! Note:This item has been lightly used and is in excellent cosmetic & working condition.
Futaba 2 stick T2ER ($45.00 retail) Remote control and FP-R122JE receiver on Channel #75 is included. Everything is installed and bench calibrated for Top Performance and excellent control of the model. You buy the boat, top off the included nicad cells and go(except stand).
HITEC 605BB Metal Gear Servo (40.00 Retail) is powerful enough to turn boat at high speeds with ease.
Alloys & Carbon Fiber Composites: Notice the use of Aluminum & Composites on this boat. The exclusive Outdrive and Hardware on this hull was engineered and built by`MACH 5 racing to be the light and functional and stand up to the riggers of Offshore and Sprint style racing. The trim tabs and turn fins are custom made of carbon fiber. Even the Motor Stringers and servo mount are crafted of carbon fiber.
Connectors & Wiring must be tough to survive the rigors of racing. `MACH 5 racing' uses only the best low resistance Astro Zero Loss & Deans 2 pin connectors and heavy Silicone 12 gauge high strand count wire for its RTRs.

Add $80.00-FMA Super Nova 250 Charger ($130.00 retail) for nicad or nimh is a great little charger for 1-24 cells. It has a memory for 9 different cell combinations that can be programed for different charge and discharge rates. It will run off any 12 volt power supply or car battery. Note this item has been lightly used and in excellent cosmetic & working condition with original box and instructions.
As with all package deals the new owner will be saving a ton of cash and shoptime with this proven setup!
