pipe to header

Hey guys i was woundering what it dose with the pipe close or touching the header verses it futther away and what is better? i have a go pro.25 and was wounderind were to put the pipe.and also can i shorten the header and what it will do .its a mac 3.5 hn pipe.thanx Robert

Your coupler will last a lot longer if the header fits inside of the pipe. You can swage the pipe to open it up or find someone in your area to weld the appropriate size 6061 tubing onto the pipe that allows the header to slide inside of it.

A/A engines just produced 10 degree exhaust headeers for 45 and 67 size engines. These headers are made to slide inside the typical 45 and 67 size tuned pipes. I am waiting for the silicone seals and header springs to arrive and then they will be ready to ship. 45 size will be $35.00. 67 size will be $40.00.

I got a header from Mark lyde What a nice pice and it slips right in my mac 3.5 pipe .Thanx mark.
