What should the pipe length be for a ZippKits 7/8" pipe on a 29.5 mod? Do you measure from the face of exhaust port or the piston?

Zip says

For stock engines,the tuned length for this pipe is exactly 13.5 inches from the face of the exhaust port (measured around the header, on the centerline).

For modified engines, start at 13.5 inches and shorten from there. The pipe is very sensitive to length.
Shorten 1/8 inch at a time and test.

After you get this pipe dialed in on length you can just measure straight from the center of the exhaust port to the pipe seam, it's easier than trying to bend your tape measure 90 deg
