Hi all,

I'd like to share some photos of brand new boat. Still on building process but will get wet next week-end.

Hope you'll like it.

Some Digits ???

I have some :D

Motor was the 820 from Graupner.

Cells & speed (GPS measured) :

16 RC1700, prop was too low, 41 Km/h

18 GP3300 P&M, prop higher, 47 Km/h

21 RC1700, 52 Km/h. The best run of the day. The hull began to really move.

Prop was k43.5, I'll try the one provided soon (k45).

Anyway that hull can handle a huge amount of power... in straight lines ;) .

Hi KD

Looks like you're having some fun. I'm guessing that you have a Graupner Formel 1 tunnel. You must be one of the lucky few who got one. : :)

Have you worked out how you're going to paint it?

Although it's mostly nitro tunnels the forum members run - all tunnels are welcome.

tunnels! tunnels! tunnels!

Real race boats. LOL

GT ;D

Yeah I tried to get that hull here in the States for eight months, never got outta backorder status. Nice hull and great construction,

liked the sponson design ;)

Gene ;D

Hi guys,

Yep it was very fun. It's my first OPC tunnel, it's completly different...

I can tell you I love that !!!

As I leave in Europe, it's "easy" to get Graupner products...

About the paint I guess I'll go for something like the one tested in RC Boat modeler...

I hope to get some videos soon.

Killin_Duck,

Awesome video. I like action! Even though it's electric, it's pretty quick and sounds cool! Have fun!

BTW, where in Europe do you live?

Hi guys,

Snowdog, I live in France.

The cool thing with fast electrics is you can hear the prop spining at 24k rpm... that's a niiiiiiice sound

Big Daddy, too bad you may had loved that thing !
