OS Remote Needle Assembly

Have any of you tried the OS 21RZ-M remote needle assembly with an inboard Nova? This particular one:

I'm thinking of giving this a whirl on my 7 port.

If you've tried this combo, can you give your opinion of the performance?

i've never tried that particular one, dean. i do use os needles for both my 3rd channel & manual remotes on my .21 k&b's & cmb's. i can post the part # when i get home this evening. i have had excellent results with os needles.

I have not used that exact needle, but I have used the 9B needle and others from O.S., and they make excellent needles.

SInce that needle is designed for a .21, it should work perfect on your NR .21.

the os needle i use for manual remote is part # 22281903, for 2A,3A,RE. it adjusts out at 3 to 4 turns on all my .21's. that seems to the range where most stock needles set at, so i chose one that adjusted out in the same range. gives good adjustability, & not at or near either end of it's range.

Is the 9B meant for .21 size engines? I want to make sure I don't purchase a needle that won't fit my needs.

The 9B is meant for .60 and up. The needle that you linked to looks good for .21 engines.

Really? O.S. uses the 9B needle on their .91 ducted fan engine.
