OPS 67 vs 65 parts interchangable?

I was wondering if any of the parts are interchangable between these two engines. In particular the rods. See link to ebay.

I have a OPS 67 drum valve version with the bushed rod. Can I use these needle rods from the 65? I would suspect that I would need a different crankshaft (pin is a differnet size I would assume).

Scott your engine can't use those rods..Different crank..

I have a needle bearing crank as well as many OPS parts I will be selling if you are intersted .

Tom he'll also need that thin washer to keep the needles in..

So it does involve changing the crank in order to upgrade to the needle rod? Yes I am interested, do you have any carbs? Let me know what you have for sale.
