Below is a copy of a letter that will be going out to all manufacturers and distributors of model boating related items. I have asked Tom to post a copy of this letter here as well in the off chance that our advertising director has missed some of the smaller outfits, especially since advertising is sold on a first come, first served basis. "Dear Sir or Madam,
District 11, New England are pleased to host the 2005 North American Model Boat Association (NAMBA) Championships in Rollinsford, NH during the week of July 9-16, 2005. We expect about 700 boats with about 300 drivers and their families. As you understand, the success of this event is dependent on the participation and generosity of the community.
Following are several ways that your participation can feature your product and name.
*Advertising in our program
*Advertising on the Official NAMBA Nationals web site
*Class sponsors (recognized on the trophies, on the class heat sheets, at the web site, in the program, at the awards banquet and by the announcer on race day)
*Banners displayed at the drivers' stand
*Promotional material included in the drivers' registration packet
*Raffle donations (donors will be recognized at the raffle, in the program and on the web site
