One Day Race On Saturday. (London, Ontario)

The Thames Valley Model Boat Club is thinking of having their one day races on a Saturday rather than Sunday. The reason for this is to alleviate the lineups at the border to get back into the US. There doesn't seem to be a problem with lineups at any time to get into Canada. Saturday evening traffic is much less than Sunday evening traffic. We don't want attendance to be affected by the border crossing. Your input would be appreciated.

Traffic was not really a problem (last couple years anyways).

Open water in Friday till dark then??

We always try to have open water from noon to dusk the day before a race. That won't change.

Some have to work SAT. SUNDAY is better for some.
