I just dug out my old charger and batteries. It's a 7.2 1400mha kyosho from 1991.
figured it couldnät hurt that much to test them before i throw them away.
not realy expecting any results i charge them for 45 minutes (the charger is also from 1991 )
the old mechanical esc is broken, but I hotwired the engine to it just to see if anything happens.
Blue sparks appear as I connect the last wire, but the engine won't run.
So I guess there realy is life left in those batteries.
wow. they're 14 years old!!
Now I've put the engine in some corosives remover oil to see if i can bring that old baby back to life aswell.
I guess I wonät be throwing them away afterall hehe.
