Sounds cool ta me, need a project for when I am on the road on service calls and have a little free time, to tear up the parking lot at the motel,

Question is what ESC?

Gene ;D

You'd have one wheelie pullin' Vette! Not to mention a good exercise in reflex control! ;D

Yeah the reaction time would be scary with a microswitch for throttle like the funnycar has, thats why I was wonderin about a ESC that would hold up to the terror?

Gene ;D

Its a fiber glass composite I believe, weight's nuthin....

Gene ;D

Got a chassis pic somewhere I will go look.....

Some of the ESCs for planes have a feature called "Soft Start" that's supposed to keep your flesh intact if it's in the way when power is first applied.

Nother idea...adjustable clutch.

Seems like I saw a ESC at Tower that had a traction control built in, a Novak maybe?

Gene ;D

This one has "Power Control", but it's limited to 7 cells. Might be able to run more if you go with a higher turn motor.

Here's a DuraTrax with nine traction control settings...check out the current ratings!

Still just 7 cells though,

Wheel base on the Funny is 13 inch, shorten that down to 11 1/4 " for the Vette body.

Not much to it at all, that why its easy to set up and run.
