Very excited about our new Race site , it has everything we could want and more.

Easy access from the hi way , restaurants and Hotels all very close by , perfect size and shaped pond with matured grounds offering shelter from wind , camping and on site restaurant.

Half hour drive from Niagara Falls and Toronto for those that may want to take a little road trip on Friday or Saturday evening.

This race will be well worth the drive for those thinking about coming , it has so much to offer.

Get those entries in..... B)

We had a few guys asking about having an ''OPEN CAT'' class. You asked and we listened. There will now be 3 ''OPEN'' classes. Open Mono, Open Hydro, and Open Cat. These classes allow any Gas, Nitro and Fast Electric to race against each other. In years past these Open classes have been extremely competative and entertaining.

We have some very generous sponsors donating to make our raffle a huge success, nice to see even in these difficult times.

If you get a chance please keep these fine folks in mind:

im going but my dad not going woth this time that weekend is my mom birthday so it just me going

will breakfast and lunch foods be available at the race site or should we provide our own....thanks...bob

Hi Bob. The Fifty Point Conservation Area has it's own restaurant on site that serves lunch and dinner. We will be giving a $10 discount coupon to all racers. There are lots of fast food restaurants minutes from the pond if you don't want to bring your own food.

Here is info on the restaurant right beside the pond. http://www.conservationhamilton.ca/the-landing-restaurant

Classes are filling in nicely. 3 weeks away and we are already at 75 boats. We are expecting 125+. It's going to be GOOD.

Big thanks to Terry Keeley for overhauling the club clock and base. Top notch!

Raffle items going in the mail tomorrow. Sounds like you guys will have another great race. The new race site sounds awesome! Might have to get up that way maybe next year.

Now all you have to do with the clock is get rid of that roll of wire and go with a remote. Less things for racers to trip over. Good luck with your race.
