This is great news for all the US/Canadian racers near the border! I might be able to squeeze this into my schedule, and would love to go! It would be my 1st & I've heard it is a great event. Do you ever get enough 12 Riggers (A Hydro) to make a class? I asked since I only race an A Hydro myself? I hope this really boosts race attendance ar the Can-Am & other races this season!
Thanks!

Thanks, our club does all it can to make sure our guests have a great time, we guarantee it!

We haven't had a separate A hydro class in the past but you could run it with the B hydros, Mike Nowicki did that in 2019 and did well. I've seen your little JAE run and you'd have no problem keeping up! ;)

This is a event we would love to make I don’t see any Sport 40 and Sport 20 boats registered. Do you not have a good boat count for those classes?

We're coming up on two weeks to go to our event and are trying to get an accurate boat count. If you are planning to come please register ASAP, if you cannot attend or need to modify your entry please shoot an email to [email protected] or text me at 647-401-7092.

For our American friends, good news, our land border opens today for leisure travel. To enter Canada you must download the "ArriveCan" app: Use ArriveCAN: Submit travel information to enter Canada - Canada.ca and follow the prompts to get an entry code, I went through it with IMPBA President Matt Scofield and it took about five minutes.

Requirements are:

Proof of two vaccinations at least 14 days prior to entering Canada.

You must have a 14 day quarantine plan should it become necessary.

You must show proof of a negative Molecular COVID-19 test taken no more than 72 hrs. prior to entering.

You have to declare any and all countries you have travelled to outside the US in the last 14 days.

As far as I can see there are no restrictions for American citizens returning to the US, a Covid test is recommended 3-5 days after returning.

Even though our numbers were down due to Covid and border issues our NLMBC still worked their tails off to host another great event for our guests.

Tom Castillani won the Thunderboat Concours with his beautiful "Miss Mojo Racing Products":
