I have built jae12g2 installed os12tz few questions new to this.

First i have always ran nitro cars and 20%fuel what do i run in os12tz boat.I see people running 65% not familiar with this stuff do i need to change anything on motor or stick with 20% not sure if going to race?

Second how to i grease stuffing tube and cable? What kind of grease?

Third i have 440 prop from zippkits do i need to do anything to it sharpen ect?If so how?

And where can i find watercooling head for os12tz not sure yet if i am going to use it,but cant find one.

thanks.

Well mike use whatever fuel you like higher nitro will provide better performance with proper timing of the motor. ...

I just use regular grease at the moment. .. just lube the shaft and spin her around by hand as you push her up the tube. ...

hi mike

as for grease i use either maxima or belray motorbike waterproof gease from a bike shop try that last for a whole meeting good stuf

as for prop work check out http:rcboat.com/prop.htm lots of good info here a couple of important things you will need to get done is balancing the prop and to sharpen the leading edge that enters the water but do not touch the trailing edge is must be left square as for the rest of the works you can read rc prop works to get some ideas on what else to do ie backcut, barcut and detounge ect ect

hope ive been of some help for you

cherrs rick :) :) :)

I would run what you're familiar with (20%) until you get it running right, then like the rest of us you'll wanna go faster and "mo nitro" will be in order.

Almost any grease will work on the cable, if you have some axle grease for a trailer that'll work. Or Grimmy's Grease:

Just coat the cable and slide it in.

The prop needs to be sharpened and balanced. You work on the back side most to get the blades matched and nice and sharp. You can make a balancer as shown in Grimmy's guide 1/2 way down:

http://www.aquacraftmodels.com/accessories/propellers.html

Here's a nice ready made balancer:

I don't run 12's but I think most guys just run the air cooling, much simpler and the water would tend to over-cool it anyway. :)
