Kevin Lee is rocking right along with his first wood kit, THOR 355 Flat-Build. He should have this one ready for testing soon. Kevin has built this boat without having to ask one question about the assembly process.

Thats cause he's smart monkey!!!!! Lol

Thanks Pete for posting pics. The race weather went south starting the first race day morning and continued through today. No tunnel racing water at all. Even the gas classes were not finishing. Dick said it best today, the retrieve boat was leading in every class....lol. Everyone still had a great time. Fortunately we went up on Wed evening and got two full days of testing on Thurs and Friday. Both boats went in the water for the first time on Thurs and within three runs each and initial CG established, speeds surprised a lot of fellow boaters that were in attendance. The 355 and 295 will no doubt quickly make their marks in races all over the world.

Yes Kris. We had two great testing days on Thurs and Friday. Very happy with the results. Too bad the weather went south on both race days.

rough water test...can some of the guys who own one of these beauties tell the difference between the Thor and lets say Lynx in these conditions.....????

Thanks Peter for posting very nice pictures....

Kevin Lee is set to test his 355 this weekend so we should know more then having two of them running to base setups on. Ron Shaw got to run his some before the wind started blowing last week and said he was happy with what he had for setup based on the first day out with it.

Yes. Thur and Fri were great tunnel water days. Wind started picking up Thurs evening and was list all weekend. As Carl mentioned, we had great testing time before we lost the water. By the third run on Thurs, the 355 was getting close and making full speed laps. This boat is more stable in high speed turns than any 40-60 tunnel I have ever driven.

We will need to do a little more testing before we can say how is compares 100%. So far, and after the hurricane test this past weekend...everything looks good.
