We have more engines available now than we have in a long time. Not only are they available but you can get a competitive .21 for $250. (NR 5port)

More people are making pipes at the moment,

We have new less expensive hulls and hardware available

More RTR boats than ever,

Custom props are more available now than ever,

Compared to 3-4 years ago things are looking great. With the addition of Zipp, JAE boats, Glenn and the NR line, Al Hobbs and the AA series offering the premium line up..

If we could just do something about the cost of Nitro,, it would be GREAT!

If you add up the fact that you don't have to buy hardware like rudders, engine mounts, cables, struts, flex couplers, pipes, and manifolds, a $400 outboard starts to look allot better...

You will always be able to get the $50 Tower discount, so the old O.S. is only $325.

Not all doom and gloom. But, I do remember when a K&B outboard was 95 bucks and a boat kit could be had for 35 bucks. I fully expect when the electric goodies start flying off of the shelves the price of that stuff will go up too.
