Need some help with my rudder...

Hello...

Was just wondering if anyone couldhelp me a little bit...

I have alot of 3mm aluminium that I am going to make a rudder out of..

Can anyone tell me the easiest way to make it??

I have already cut out the rudder but I have a little problem with the bracket...I dont know how to fasten the rudder to the bracket..

Please help me guys :'(

I think I could help. What kind of tools do you have to work with aluminum? This will make a difference on it's design.

Try something like this.

You will need a good drill press and a press vise to keep everything square.

Here is a picture of a simple hinge. With 3mm stock a 1mm hole and pin should work.

I dont have a digital camera, but I can try to borrow one and take a picture... ;D

Thanks for the drawings guys...!I've tried to do this, but the drill always brakes when I have drilled half the way into the aluminium
