Hi all , im toying with the idea of a Twin engine mono (Gas ) (twin prop)

I would love to hear from anyone that has run a twin mono , was it surface drive? if so whats the story with cornering? doesnt one prop come clear (or close to) of the water with a big unloaded rev? does it need to be sub surface drive? or make the hull corner flatter ?

Any help with ths matter is of great help

Thanks

Andrew

The ones that I have seen over the years that worked well, were all setup with sub surface props, and they were set deep to try to keep the props in the water. Friend of mine ran a twin 45 nitro, and he kept blowing the engine on that left side due to it running wild in the corners

Thanks for the input Bob , thats kinda what i was thinking in regards to it

hopefully some others will chime in too

Thanks

Must be Sub Surface, Todays keel`s are too sharp for surface driver set up... Will Gallagher had a Twin Microburst for sale he is on this site...
