Matrix start clock

Hi Guys , our club runs a analoge clock and are wondering if you guys have a clock system that is good , maybe you could tell me or show me a picture on how it works ( or how to make one )

as our old one has finally passed away and is very old ( cant get parts fro it anymore )

you help would be great

they are heats races, where our club members have different boats at club day .

as they are all different ( some are fast some are slow , some are deepvees , some are cats , some are hydros , some are monos .

thats why we need to run a start clock . ( not a digital one )

We take everyones time as they do one lap and that becomes there starting handycap time on the clock .

we have a big analoge clock that sits in the water on the start finsh line , so eveyone can see it .
