Eric A's 67 rigger that was written off (by me :'( ) 10 months ago. Thus the name of the boat!

I thought it was Casting, Machining, bites.

I got reminded that the K stands for kaboom :p
Well I'll stick with my Old Piece of Sh@# that runs all weekend.

Grub - Who said scale boats can't finish

Chenco cowl clips???? which boat are you referring to??? my 21 rigger??? hehehehe

a problem since every boat I have has different ways of holding the cowl down

EMS Racing standardisation - not

Grub,

I thought it was Obselete Piece of Sh@#!! :p

Craig,

I meant your 45 SG. Bits of angle over the side, just squeeze the cowl to put it on!

Nitrocrazed racing: Oops, there goes the rod.

Grub's boat went very well with that motor in it ;)

I wonder if his opinion of it will change when he has some serious competiton :p

Tim

Don't have to go fast in 1/8th Scale, just have to finish. ;D ;D ;D

You know, I was thinking the same thing as I was typing the last post.

For the others who wonder what we are going on about - we hold this little race every year called the hydro shootout - and there is a perpetual trophy for scale called the silver cup. The race format dictates that there is a final and the winner of the final takes the trophy. This year we had 6 boats in the final and not 1 of them finished the race! And the conditions were perfect!

The most common class in which 'no contests' (ie no finisher's) occur in our club is 1/8th scale. I dont really know why? ???

Nitrocrazed racing: The sounds of silence. Must be 1/8th scale again....

OK roll call,

Who's going to the Nationals in Adelaide this year?

I booked my seat yesterday ;D

Well, I'll be there... ;D And I think you can pretty much count on most of the rest of the Adelaide club as well! :p

Nitrocrazed racing: I think I'll stay at home this year....
