Several weeks ago there was a "disagreement in principle" and a "parting of the ways" on another board that was an unfortunate result of long-time developing politics.

I hope that I speak for all the FE racers here, in declaring no desire to bring or discuss further these disputes to this new home/board.

Doug -- one of the best things about this board is the LACK of 'political BS'. (although I still disagree about the outcome of the last Superbowl ;D ) Add to that the years of knowledge from the biggest names in RC boating (you know who you are!) and the willingness to share that knowledge.

I thought that is what this was about. Yes let's just talk about boats. No politics please. I don't know what there broblem is. They need to start a separate "politics forum". Sometimes the main forum there has hardly any actual boat discusion. I try not to read the political threads but you know what they say about train wrecks.
