I saw that actually work on a .45 CMB Tunnel by Ernie LaFluer, he had his pipe

on a 4th channel, long in the corner and shortened on the straights.

How did he seal the pipe in the adjustable section?

You can see in the video the pipes are leaking exhaust smoke around the adjustable section.
