Having Trouble With Rossi 7.5 Outboard

I am about to give up on this brand new Rossi.....I have been reading this thread and trying to get my tunnel to run....

but no success.

Anyone have a brand new Nelson or CMB they want to part with.

I got mine back from Rod Geraghty Saturday. I am going to try it in the next couple of days. I'm sure it's going to be good after talking to him. He modded it & from what I understand, it should be at least comparable with a Nelson.

Before the last race I dropped the head to .014 and raised the motor well above the sponsons and it still won't get up on the pipe. The other boater in our club can't get his 7.5 Rossi to run as well. I spoke with Rod G and I am sending off my motor. He suggested the Red Carb and Hyper head button and mods to the motor.

I will keep posting on IW as I try the motor after Rod takes a look at the motor.
