Michael, I ran last week with the detounged/slightly cupped prop, and was not overly impressed. Bear in mind I was using some older 4S 30C Elite 5300's. Put in a new Zippy 4S 30C 5000 that I just got and OMG !! Boat flew. Literaly began to "fly the hull" ! CG at 8" from rear sponson tip, about 5 deg up on the drive. I'm totally jazzed - no GPS but if it wasn't very close if not right at 50 mph I'll eat a receiver pak.

Oh, I can believe 50mph. Mine was not really that tuned, and the prop was right out of the bag, and put 44mph on a radar gun! I cannot say enough about the Zippy 4s 30c 5000mah packs. I have 2 in hand, and 8 on the way! lol. I got my new VS1 built over the weekend, and will be getting it on the water some this week I hope. I will get pics and updates later on. I am putting the VS1 shown in this thread in the for sale area right now. Gotta offset some costs!
