Does anyone have some pictures they can post of motor and pipe placement in a gas scale hydroplane any and all help would be appreciated thanks, geno

Lohring, I'm curious. Why was 1/8" ply used for the right sponson transom? I can see beefing it up with aluminum but wouldn't have 1/4" ply been better to start with?

The sponson transoms that came with the frame kit were doubled with the 1/8 ply used in all the frames. The loads on everything were a lot more than any other model boat I ever built. I kept beefing things up as they bent or broke.
