easy way to fix a dented tuned pipe...inside

i was looking through a forum for 1/8th scale rc car racers and read a good tip i thought we could all use. if you have a tuned pipe with a dent in it, plug the stinger and pressure fitting, fill with water and prop up in the freezer with header end up. allow it to freeze and it will push the dent out. very simple and it apparently works very well

well..... i don't know about very well..... but ive done it and it kinda works. it does not always expand to the shape you want... but if the dent is bad it is worth the risk..... it could even be better than origional in the end......
