Guys, I picked up a new, undrilled 40" Dumas Skater a while ago. I was originally going to put (2) O.S. .21 outboards on it but have since decided to go twin brushless outboards. I know the boat may be a little heavy for it, but it would be more of a scale, fun project than built for top speed.

I was thinking about (2) of the new Proboat outboards as they look pretty nice. Any reports on them? (other than they keep getting delayed!

Hoping I could get some advice on esc's & motors. I'm still new to bl but have run gas & nitro for many years.

Thanks, Tim

We run P spec tunnels with a setup that's about equal in speed to a 3.5 stock tunnel. The Proboat motor should be similar. We run:

a UL-1 motor (the stock speed control is ok for play)

a K&B or Hyperformance lower unit with a Hyperformance flex shaft & prop shaft

a Hyperformance motor adapter

a Grimracer 42x55 prop

4S 4000 40C batteries

5.5 mm bullet connectors on everything
