Might be better in our environment to skip all the electronics and stick with a mechanical micro switch off the servo or throttle linkage for activation means or just turn it on and go run 6 laps. Not sure if plug life would suffer if it was energized during full throttle blasts.

It works fine at full throttle and low throttle. I agree with the micro switch method. Actually, it works fine just hooking it up right before starting and leaving it hooked up during the run. No switch.
