Cnc laser

So I've always wanted a cnc laser but figured i could never afford one.

They say it can cut 3mm plywood.

Anybody have any experience with these?

No experience at all, but the link to the unit provided indicates it is an engraver-not a cutter. with only 12v power, probably not even a good engraver. 12 volts is not going to produce a beam with much power at all. I do know a little about lasers as my ex-wife was a laser tech graduate. Kind of funny I asked some 25 years ago what kind of a laser would cut wood, and she said "more than you can afford".

Try a CO2, or YAG. They will cut it, but like wife said. LOOK at price. 12 Volts not close to operate one of

them.

How much power does yours have? I'm not looking to start a business, just cut some stuff for myself? Will it cut 1/8 ply?
