I have a CMB 101 EVO engine running in an Eagle SG.

Fuel is 50%, Prop 1667 cup 6.5.

When the boat is coming up the straits it seems beeing a little too rich of fuel. But leaning up more, the engine quits or the plug is failing ( MC 9 ).

So i think this could be a pipe problem. I use the old CMB .90 pipe with the small silencer.

Has anybody a good idea?

Best pipe option in my opinion is the MACS 15cc pipe p/n 1394 http://www.macspro.com/marinetunedpipes.asp

11.5" from the center of the "M" of the "CMB" cast into the side of the motors case to the center of the 1" flat band of the pipe holding the ruler along the side of both the motor case and pipe.

with a Rum Racing stinger muffler http://www.rumracingproducts.com/

Second best pipe option for the 101's is a CMDi Bar stock AB90-100 pipe but they are no longer produced and difficult to find. http://cmdracing.com/updated/tuned_pipes.htm

Do yourself a favor and replace the MC-9's your using with some O'Donnell 289 glow plugs. https://odonnellglowplugs.com/product/289-v2/

Thank you guys for the great advice.

I have to see where i can get a MACS 15 pipe.

I live in Germany and getting parts from US is not so easy and very expensive.

Thanks again

Joachim

Better A/A84 pipes from Al Hobbs

Macs 15cc pipe is the best all around for that eng.

Open the stinger to .470 also............

It will help with the rich running condition.
