Does anyone know if the Hudy bearing tool for 21 will work properly when installing bearings in an ops 45 or A/A 45

Really would like to be able to press the bearings in together

Do a search on here . Use the crank and flywheel with collet nut ot draw them together while hot . Yes , I realize you could make mandrels to install the bearings but this method works well and has stood the test of time by many accomplished engine techs .

We have the same tool and it does not work for these engines. We tried but the puller isnt wide enough to grab the inner race of the bearing. Oven at 350 for 20 minutes and the bearings fall out and the new ones fall right in then use the crank as Tom said. Seems to be the easiest way.
