What is the easiest way to get them small enough to fit. Tried to change mine still have my old one and it is all distorted.

There are many tools out there that will do a good job of resizing pictures. Two that I use are FastStone Image Viewer (shareware) and Microsoft Photo Editor (which comes with MS Office). Also, programs such as Adobe Photoshop will do it, but they're overkill if you just want to resize pictures. When you resize, the tool will usually give you a choice about whether to keep the proportions the same. Be sure to keep this option set on the value that maintains the original proportions. Otherwise, things get short and fat or tall and skinny unless you change both dimensions exactly right.
