Assault gas mono

picked this  mono up when I was in Fla  Ordered up all the Speedmaster  hardware for it, Zipp turnfins. 

Just need to finish up some water lines and fuel setup and it will be ready to test. 

Wes Ellet did the Mtn Dew  graphics  I think it looks good with that color.

A radio box comes with the hull it is about 4x 6.   I made that box it is 5x6 and the bottom has a angle on the sides to sit low in the hull.

I see, your radio box looks nice (what I can see of it). Is it carbon-fibre cloth layup?

Yes that one it carbonfiber cloth, dont do it usally just cloth layup epoxy.

Ran my Dew boat, made some trim adjustments to the tabs and it handled well, we saw it run 55 on the radar gun every lap.

yea the water was not rough at all that day, a little trimming and prop pinching may help too.

Mine has only seen water once so far. I wasn't happy with my standby prop so I ordered one that should be better.
I went Speedmaster all the way on the transom.
These boats are fantastic in rough water. Last year at Celina conditions were awful but the Assaults plowed through the waves like they weren't there at full-throttle, that's when I decided to retire the Rampage and buy one.
My F-41 loves that pipe, it really pulls it hard out of the turns.

Yes use drop mount there is clearance for plug under the cowl
