Anyone know the year of this boat and designation?

Not sure what year this is, guessing 97 T5, but not sure. Note the bowties on the canard wing and the U12 number.

Any idea if Bud built this or it's a remake of someone else's hull?

Ooops, I didn't see the later post with pics. Troy seems to have it right.

Gossler does not have the u-12 decal, everything else is from the 1994 set so you can just order that. As far as I know the only source for the U-12 is from Graffix in Seattle. They did the decals for the real boat.

Without a picture I can only guess. However, the only year Bud ran the Red boat with the U-12 number is 1997. There is virtually no difference between the T-3 and T-5 so it could be either of those.

As the two-wing boat never ran that year I don't hink it could be that. And the T-6 wasn't built until later.
