Just looking for a little advice and tips - wife bought me a pretty decent set , 2 dual action guns gravity feed and suction /and matching compressor, and air brush paints. Been playing around with it after I get off work here and there , but its a steep learning curve for a novice with zero artistic skills. Watched a bunch of videos on you tube trying ghost flames - and they are tough, I scare it from time to time and almost get close and kill it with too much paint-
Reaching out for tips if any of you guys play with this stuff. Thanks in advance

I have a Badger air pump. There is no regulator on it. Maybe your is putting out too much pressure or your paint is too thin. I did end up ruining some trim with a big water splat in the middle of the job. A water trap took care of that problem. Practice on your mail box or something. Good luck.

practice practice -
Im in Florida- moisture traps are a must - lol

The darker one will be dry in the am - then we will see how it really came out.
Not bad for a first try tho.

I've been airbrushing for 30 years. Play and have fun. Some of my best stuff came from playing and "accidents". Some of your stuff looks a little muddy. If you start over dont forget to use a white or bright base if you want more vibrant colors. Remember, that almost everything is transparent.

Thanks Wes , so go ahead and blend the entire project with white base , or just the areas I will be highlighting ?

btw , ANY advice is accepted , good bad or indifferent -
I appreciate you taking a time .

So I started over a few times , but I would like to think its getting better , still a work in progress.
